‘Between this side and the other side of the world,
whether there is intention or not,
Venice and Japan,
two landscapes
intertwine through the flickering of threads, blending into one another, influencing each other.
Yet the uncertainty of being here
and not being here
seems to dissolve and seep
into each of these landscapes.

A future that may exist,
or may not;
a past that should have been,
or perhaps never was.
Moving back and forth through such time and space,
the accumulation of each careful stitch
feels as though it is surely binding together
an uncertain world that cannot be fully understood.’
